About Desmosport Ducati
The DesmoSport Ducati team was formed in 2016 by the 2001/2006/2008 World Superbike champion Troy Bayliss and former Australian Superbike racer, Ben Henry.
The team, based out of Cube Performance Centre on the Gold Coast, competes in the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) against Australia’s, and some of the world’s, best Superbike racers.
The rules of ASBK result in very few mechanical changes to the standard Ducati Panigale V4 R apart from a full titanium exhaust, advanced Ohlins suspension package and advanced electronic management via a Magneti Marelli ECU.

After some HUGE crashes in testing, ultimately causing a fuel pump failure in the only Free Practice of the weekend, @ollysimpson45 went into Qualifying with no solid laps under his belt on the DesmoSport Ducati Panigale V2.
Incredible effort to recover with two race wins and the Next Gen SuperSport championship lead after the first round.
